KEITH E. LEWIS

Pastor Keith E. Lewis, a native of Mississippi, accepted Christ in March of 2006.

Pastor Lewis honorably served four years in the United States Navy, where he recognized his passion for food and people. After his time in the Navy, Pastor Lewis would continue his career in the restaurant industry as a Quick Service Restaurant General Manager and Working Partner. Pastor Lewis currently leads 1,500 Child Nutrition Professionals. Together, they serve over 1 million meals a week to the students of Houston I.S.D.

Pastor Lewis accepted his call to preach the Word of God and was licensed in 2010. In 2001, Pastor Lewis married his lovely wife and Elect Lady, Cha’Quania Lewis, and they share two children and grandchildren.

Pastor Lewis desires to continue building Star Light Missionary Baptist Church as a congregation centered on faith, family, and community.

CHA'QUANIA D. LEWIS

Elect Lady Cha’Quania D. Lewis was born and raised in Houston, Texas. At 20, She gave her life to Christ and was baptized. As a believer and follower of Christ, Cha’Quania’s mission is to lead as many people as possible to know Jesus and share His word.

Shortly after graduating high school in 1999, Cha’Quania joined the United States Navy. After serving 20 years as an Information Systems Technician First Class Petty Officer, she retired in September 2019. During their service, Pastor Keith Lewis and Cha’Quania were brought together at their first duty station (VFA-25) in Lemoore, CA, and married on June 23, 2001.

Cha’Quania accepted her calling into the teaching ministry in October 2015, preaching her first sermon in February 2016. As a believer in Jesus Christ, she desires for everyone to experience God’s amazing love and build a relationship with Him.
